Im looking to get warm air into my kitchen from the living room where the stove is...Should i pull the cold air into the living room or should i push the hot air into tthe kitchen,,I was going to use a door corner fan or an oversized computer fan

The consensus here is to push the cold air in to the warm air. This is my first year burning and it works for me.

Yes, try pushing cold air towards stove but also try pulling heat from stove. People get all kinds of different results.

Obviously a fan both pulls and pushes. I pull cold air from the floor below and push it up. All of the ducting and fine filtering is on the pressure side with just a pre-filter on the pull side to save the cat from getting sucked in.

Cold air is more dense (heavier) than warm air. A centrifugal fan works on the principle of using the weight of the air.

I have the same situation and installed one of the super quiet fans in the upper corner of the doorway between the room with the woodstove and kitchen pushing the warm air into the kitchen works well for me.
hmm.. i've moved my osculating fan all over the downstairs... for me pushing air into the other rooms worked better??

i tried both alot, and figure out for me if the stove is hot its best to bring the cold air to the stove and when the stove is coolier its better to take the warm air the other direction.

You have to try both methods. I've seen it work both ways and it usually depends on the house layout.

I've found that a small fan at floor level in the cold room blowing towards the stove works best.
Put a small fan on the floor blowing towards the stove and a small fan Up high at the top of the door frame blowing away from the stove and you will get the air moving and the heat will spread nicely.
