I have a whitfield traditions P11 and i turned the srews out too far on the baffle and tthey broke the head of the screw off. Can i run the stove w/out the baffle on or can i just drill these old screws out and put new ones in and re-attach the baffle? thanlk for any help or ideas.

Hey not a pro on your stove but as a mechanic anything can be drill and fixed and you can go to sears and buy a stud extractor easy to do. Use alot of rust breaker and soak overnite.

Good Luck,

Anthony

Hello jc,
It would be best to drill out the broken screws and replace them - that unit should not be ran w/o the baffle plate. This is not a hard repair but very necessary for proper stove operation.
