Non EPA vs EPA

STOP!

3 hour burn times? Even with a pre-EPA stove like a Fisher you should be getting at least double that. Your Fisher has an air leak and it's probably traceable to a faulty or non-existent door gasket.

duh,she lives in canada, not washington & guess what= cold exterior eats up wood via draft.

Fishers are built pretty tight. There's got to be extra air for that draft to over draft. I'm guessing gaskets. Bet me.

From this picture that I found of her stove, it looks like it is like mine and does not have a gasket. A good many fishers did not use any rope style gaskets.

It has the gasket in the door. I know you posted a four hour burn time Penn....I swear it's on here! :D

For a day burn most likely I was talking! My burn times have gotten much easier to increase now that I have the baffle. But even before, I could do an all night burn. It just wasn't as consistent or easy and I had to use a chimney damper. Now I don't need to use the damper.
