If you do search for info - you may want to use "quadra" (or quadrafire) instead of "quadru". That probably won't get much of a return.

I have a 2100ACC and been pretty happy with it for the year it's been installed. Much more heat than I expected; glad we did not go with the 3100 as we considered for awhile. My only complaint is the glass airwash system doesn't work nearly as well as I've seen on other stoves. I clean the glass every day; but it's a quick and easy chore. Lots of heat, clean burning, easy to control.

The better question is: How big is the space you are heating? How well is the home insulated? How many north windows do you have in the room? How tall are the celings? IS the room where the stove is going open to other parts of the house? Is the house two stories or one? How are you planning on venting it? What type of fuel do you plan on burning in it?

Sizing a stove is based on your needs and house design. Not what the same stove does in other peoples homes. The same stove in two differnt homes in the same CITY can act totally different.

fISHLIGHT

I have a 3100 that has heated our house for three years now an I love it I don't have any problems with the window on the door staying clean I can go three months without cleaning it [ it get a little dirty but no soot ]. I stoke the stove at 5am when i get up with two pcs of wood again at noon when i come home again at 4pm when i get home from work again at 10pm when I go to bed.I burn all black locust, the wood is 6"x15" I burn 8pcs a day unless I am burning chunks. I keep the house around 73 we also have a small heater in the bedroom that we turn on at nite We are very happy with the stove. the only problem is that I shpud have got it years ago. Our house is 1400 ft, We dont heat my gun room our the spare bed room unless we have company,we ran the furn about two days thisyear when we had all the family home for Christmas thats it .

If you did a search for Quad 2100 you probably found posts about my experience. It was a wresting match in the beginning due to some QC issues but once I figured out what had happened and straightened it out, I'm extremely happy with my ACT (the ACC and ACT versions have different primary air systems and if you can find an ACT I think it's the better of the two.) You won't find a more efficient or cleaner burning stove in it's size range.

Hey MSG, welcome back. Yes, that would have been most unfortunate...

Are you back at McGucken?

Woke up to a few inches of snow this morning, I assume you got some up there too.
