well i ended up getting my barefoot pellets. bought them at coles hardware in berwick pa where i bought them last year. they are currently stocking pa pellets but i asked them if they could get the barefoots and the store manager said some of their stores stock them and he could find out where. he called me the next day and said that their williamsport store has them and they may be able to transfer them to the berwick store. phone rings this morning and it's the store manager "i have a ton of barefoot pellets here for you" so no extra charge for the transfer and they cost me $249 for the ton and he said that if i want them again to just give him a call and he will find them for me. i just wanted to share the great customer service i received from coles hardware and they have my busness from now on.

That's a great price. i haven't done much shopping for barefoot but i think i'm going to stick with them until i have breathing time. actually just found a bolt in my burn pot, stoves n stuff told me the bolt couldn't have come from the stove because that bolt doesn't exist anywhere in the line around the auger so it must have come from the pellets. i'm never getting pureflame pellets again.. some of them are almost 1 1/2" long and constantly are making my auger unhappy plus i don't get much in the auger spin so i have to keep my feed rate at the highest to keep a good flame. stoves n stuff said this is the best price they've had barefoots in a while and it's 275$/ton.
