The antique stove we just bought, will be delivered with a pipe for the top of the stove, up thru the back piece. It's got an oblong shape to it. Anyone know if there are appropriate adapters available today, to convert the oblong shape to a 6" round?

They do make a few of them, wether they fit your size or not?
 
I have an 8" oval pipe coming up from my 1977 Vigilant. I got it a my local stove store. I bought two so I have a spare just in case. I, too, at first thought the same thing but they are pretty common part to get.
