Been a long time since I posted.
Any one notice Lowes $189/ton pellets burn with high ash, and lower heat? Brand is Clean Energy Premium Hardwood Pellets.
Early in the season I bought one ton of Agway. Then to fill the 3 ton we like, we saw the Lowes $189 deal. We bought two ton. This purchase was in December.
I have noticed the Agway pellets heat the room (makes the stove almost too hot to touch, low ash). The Clean Energy brand we picked up at Lowes does not heat the room well, and the amount of ash is high.
I am currently mixing the two brands when I fill the stove. Higher on the Agway when temps are at cold - this season, in PA, we have been cold...
Just wondering if anyone else noticed this with the Lowes pellets, and do the $189 home depot burn better?
Thanks!
Beth
