Have any of who own one of these(Optimizer 250) ever tried loading east/west instead of n/s? I got a better burn time by loading e/w. Not much better but a couple hours.
 
Do you mean having the wood perpendicular to the nozzle, rather than parallel to it?
 
perpendicular to the nozzle makes things bridge up BAD in my EKO......
 
I dont get the bridging in mine, i could probally go 14 to 15 hrs on a full load but work calls and coming home to a cold house is out of the question.
