What year was this Englander stove made?

The Englander Model 25-PFS ??

Well the 24-FC models were made before 2000 and looked more ornate.

There was a warnock hersey model # 25 pfs and the manfacturer's date was 4/95

So I would guees somewhere from 1995 to 200x

whatever year it is, it doesnt have enough buttons and settings to occupy my time on these long cold dark winter nights.

nothing like passing the winter tinkering with the stove for that 'perfect burn'
 
No Guess on the age, but based on the guy's ad, I'd say he was a used car salesman! Either that or he works for Ronco.
 
Hello

The 25-PFS would be a nice conversation piece but the top flue and only 4 heat exchanger tubes, it probably is not as good as the newer models. That is a good price and in excellent condition.

The manual shows 2 augers

Hi Don,

If that exchanger design is like the newer PDV and PDVC, the holes only let the air out. The exchanger behind the holes is a flat plate that is likely the top of the fire box. It gives a nice area for the heat transfer.

It looks like the 25 PDV and PDVC got together and had a kid.

It looks like that stove also has two convection blowers in it or at least one of the stoves in that lineup does.

I hope Mike gets a chance to check in and leave a comment.
