    Greetings all,
I have a fairly new Troy Bilt (27 ton) splitter. It works just fine BUT it is so slow. Is there anything I can do to speed up the cycle time? Any help will be appreciated.

I dont know how the Troy Built operates but some splitters have a 2 stage valve that allows quicker travel of the cylinder (higher flow, lower pressure) untill it meet some resistance then it kicks in regular flow, high pressure to complete the split.

You can also get a manual version http://www.cylinderservices.net/catalog.asp?prodid=601852&showprevnext=1
