    It would have to be part of another energy package, etc......

    I'm not sure where the Home Star effort is -
    "Home Star has been stalled in the U.S. Senate for months after having passed the House last May"

    That has a good deal in it for wood and pellet stuff....and other energy stuff too!

    I understand the federal government is expecting large numbers of taxpayers to file for the wood stove tax credit in Detroit , Philidelphia , Chicago and many other inner cities. I don't think they need to worry about being audited and neither do I , because I actually bought a stove in 2010.
