My room blower is always running on high. Everything is set on auto and the stove is hooked up to a thermostat. Just wondering if that is normal? Blower is loud. Stove runs up and down through heat settings fine just the room blower always runs on high. Occasionally get a high pitched squeal that only lasts for seconds.

pretty sure thats how blower will operate when you have the Tstat hooked up. Cant really get around it i dont think? As for the squeal, yah....thats the rear bearing. Try oiling it sometime, Prolly wont help much, but it may though. Better save money for a new one, then when you get new blower on, you can replace rear bearing on the blower assembly and have a spare.
