I have been thinking about building a small structure 8x12, in close proximity, but not attached to our mobile home on a concrete pad that will house an Englander add-on furnace, which will connect into the existing duct work. The outside wood furnaces are just too expensive and I didn't see why this wouldn't in theory work. Has anyone else done this?

What type of furnace unit do you have? How big is the addition? Do you have pics you could share? You can reply off list if you'd like. Do you have any advice or things that you would do differently?

Appreciate any advice you could give.
