Hi, We purchased an older house which contained a Whitfield stove. The first fall we had a stove company come and certify (for house insurance) the stove as well as clean and check it over generally. Fast forward a couple of seasons and the glass soots up quite quickly compared with the first season. I read on one of the posts about removing the hood over the glass and cleaning behind it, which I did. This got me wondering just where the air wash path starts. Does it enter the stove above the glass or ? I have been cleaning the stove and at the start of each season remove both fans and clean then completely. Also do the full ash clean about once a week or so. Thank you in advance
