Amount of ashes after a good cleaning

I just finished cleaning my inserts flex-able liner with a pellet brush I have around 20 feet of tubing coming from the T and cup. With no exaggeration I must of had over 5+ cups of ash land on the floor. I figure I have burned maybe 30 -40 bags since I have installed the new stove and liner. Have cleaned the ashtray every 2 days maybe 3 bags. Have vacumed the same.

Does this seem normal?

Get maybe three cups of ashes from the ashtry with every cleaning.
