    I responded to a guy on Craigslist who was giving away black walnut, cut to 18-24 inches. Went to his house last night and got 2 heaping truckloads of rounds! I took every last piece. They are all different lengths, so I'll have to size them down to 16", but it doesn't get much easier than that. He was only 5 miles from my house.

    Nice, you gotta love the "Free" Section on Craigslist. Also, look under "barter" Often, people will post sometthing like "Firewood in exchange for removal from property"
