I heard about an add-on catalyst which, it appears, attaches to the flue output on your stove, turning any old stove into a catalytic one. This sounds too convenient to work well. Does anyone have experience with this setup? I'm not thinking of trying it, I'm just curious. It seems to me that the stove pipe would bear more heat with this setup compared to a stove designed for a catalyst inside.
Any experience with retrofit catalyst?
