Anyone make a simple gravity damper for furnace?

I'm installing an add on wood furnace to my main furnace. I want to add a damper in the main furnace plenum but would like to make one myself - seems pretty simple to me.

Anyone do this before? Just wondering what you did.

I'd be curious too. My local heating world says they make thier own when
they install add ons. Anyone?
