I know there are several using 5 1/2" liners on their small stoves.
How about the 5" liner??
How is it working for you??

I don't burn with one, but I installed a Mansfield in an 1850-Era
three-story building in Albany a couple of years ago & it's been
working like a charm...The folks that bought it & hired us to install
it are an offshoot of the Amish & wanted to be off the grid & STILL
be able to keep the building comfortable in these cold NY winters.
The fact that it works well may be partially due to the excessive
length of the liner. It was the ONLY size we could get down thru to
the first floor from the roof & we had to blast into the central flu on
each of the top two floors in order to pull it.
Anyway, yes, it'll work - under the right circumstances...

That's great to hear!
I'm facing similar circumstances - 5' is the only "fit"
for my flue. In my case, it would be a 20' run up
through my house. My interfacing stove would be
a much smaller unit - a Hearthstone Tribute.
I could go with one of those "ovalized" liner systems,
but they are 2 to 3 times as expensive as a std. round liner.
