Hello, this is my first post and I am looking for some help with my wood stove!

We just purchased a house that has a preinstalled Arrow Wood stove insert in the fireplace. It appears to be a model 229009, says it was manufactured in 1988. I am asking for help in how to operate this stove. It has a single air control in the front, a flue lever, and a speed controller for a blower. I've never had a wood stove with a blower... What does it do? Is it supposed to feed the fire or circulate hot air? I just have no clue! Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you kindly.

Edit: typo

I have attached a few pictures if they can help.
