I did the end of season cleaning on my harman xxv. I capped the exhaust pipe with a plastic bag and zip tie before I ran it in test mode. I wanted to check the fans to make sure there was no rattle. It wouldn't shut down the combustion fan until I cut the power and realized it was because I forgot I capped the vent. Does anyone think this might have caused some damage?

IT would not shut down on test mode??? The harmans will run the exhaust fan as long as the esp probe is 89 deg or higher (kinda fogy on exact number) so if it was that hot outside then that is why the exhaust stayed on. I would not think you did any damage to it
