Big elm score? I thought! Id please!

That looks like Red Elm aka Slippery Elm. Great Firewood.
 
I agree with the others, that looks like red elm. Good stuff for the woodpile.
 
The biggest I've seen here was 11 inches or so. On the smaller trunk, the bark was more wispy and flaky than what you have there. The end cut looks very similar, though. C'mon split one of those bad boys open and show us some split pics! ==c

If that's Red, you've got some good-burning wood there. Looks wet though; I don't think it's going to be dry enough to use this year.
