At what condition should fire bricks be replaced? Never, once cracked? Every 5, 10 years?

good question, i also await responses. I assumed that the bricks would generally last a long time and only replace if any of them are falling apart from multiple cracks and breaks.

Maybe when they fall apart? No reason to just replace them.

Even if cracked in half, it's still doing the job, though I might have spares ready to go at that point.

No reason to replace them unless they are falling apart, that would be the only reason.
