Bless me Fathers for I have sinned!!!

Finished the last of my seasoned four cords a week and a half ago. Weather has been chilly but cooperating. Now everyone is chilly and wants a fire so I dipped into next years splits that are only four months old. Man I dont feel right about it but what momma and kids want they tend to get. Please some one give me pennance.

Don't worry about it ya gotta break the rules sometimes , maybe you can scrounge up some pallets and use them to keep the fire going so you don't have to use too much of new seasons stash.

+1 to the pallets . . . at this point you probably don't need a 24-7 rip-roaring fire . . . only a nice hot fire to take the chill out of the air. Find some free pallets and rip them up . . . they're useful for this time of year when you need those quick, hot fires and don't want to a) dip into next year's wood and b) burn unseasoned wood.

Yeah I'm going straight to hell. I'll be the short skinny guy mining brimstone. :)

No sin!
But it was a mild winter - sounds like you would have run out a lot sooner if we would have had a deep freeze.
Better store up more for the next season!
Happy burning.
