I suppose you could test the theory that it's not the AW32 hydraulic oil that it making it hard to start by disconnecting the hydraulic pump at the lovejoy connection....??? If the motor starts easy, you've found the problem.

When you found the hydraulic oil leak and added AW32.. is that what was in the hydraulic tank? Or did you just top it off with that? Maybe there's AW46 in there???

My splitter is definitely harder to start in the cold
