You got it.
I tested my sister one day. She has poison ivy next to her front steps and box elder on front lawn. I took pics of both close up and asked her which was which and she got them right. I was surprised.

Guess which is which...

PI -1 stem 3 leaves, Box elder multi leaves per stem, although on a seedling it very hard to distinguish the difference.
PI -either a bush or vine, old vine very hairy- never seen it with a trunk as such but plenty crawling up other tree trunks and spreading out in the canopy. Gives me the willies just thinking about PI- very allergic to it.

Thanks for verifying. I'm not good at telling what poison Ivy is on pics.... Better in person... It was growing up my stacked wood few months back.
