This was an easy one, tree came down this summer in a storm. Owners cut it up and pushed it into the brush. S last week I stopped and asked about it, they said go for it. Got two loads out of it. Could probably get two more but most of what I left there was punky or small stuff. I'm well ahead so not to worried about the small stuff. Looks to be a cord or so.

Nice score swags, we burn about 3 cord a year so I would never pass up on a score like that.

Nice - I have a bunch available out back already down by nature. It is all sitting high above ground held by the root ball or other downed trees so I am taking as much ash as I can get out easy before I start on the cherry. Probably 30% of my stacks are cherry already.

Very nice! I scored a cherry to this year after Sandy... If you smoke or grill, It is wonderful with ribs and chicken.

I like the smell of that stuff, both splitting and burning it. Haven't burned any this year yet, but I did buck up a couple of standing deads up on the farm, waiting for more snow so I can haul them out of the woods.....
