There is alot of good advice on this site. Thanks to the responses to my post last December, the creo buildup was much better. Got a cup of fluffy powder instead of the shiney glazed chips (a pint) from the last cleaning. The suggestion to run the stove hot with damper open (flue thermometer reading 500 - 600) for awhile every day , 10 minutes every day, helped big time. Our flue will probably never achieve the "only got a handful of white powder" some get because of its limitations. But the suggestions helped a bunch. Thank you!
