Burning Jelutong(sp)

    Has anyone tried burning a wood called Jelutong(sp)? It's an asian hardwood resembling balsa wood. I can get a steady supply of it to use as kindling(lights with a match) but it's used for gum production. I'm wondering about possible build-up from the resins.
