A big store in Colorado which one of the members here works at is McGuckin Hardware. Although their focus is not online sales, they can give (or at least HE can give) personal attention to you.
Another forum member who often ships out stuff is The Chimney Sweep from bellingham, wa.
In that case, also, you will get very personal attention.
Another regular forum guy is Mike from Englander - Englander sells in many hardware chains and also many sites over the net.
Basically, besides the personal contacts here you can go to google shopping and type in Fireplace Inserts. Or Wood burning fireplace inserts.
