Should I go with Vermont pellets or cubex?

How has your experience with either brand been?

What kind of stove?

Harman P35I and updated spelling above (stupid corrective spelling).

Where it's a Harman, I personally wouldn't pay the price for either.

Agreed. I have seen very little difference in performance from the high end to low end pellet in my Harman. The biggest difference was ash output.

Well lowes has jacked the price of green team to 274.

I have burned both and like both in my P35i. Cubex is probably a few bucks cheaper

I know Cubex is considered a high-end premium pellet but it burns like crap in my stove. The heat is OK but everything gets covered with thick black ash and the burnpot fills up with clinkers and half burned pellets. I've tried different feed rates and damper settings and cannot get them to burn properly. Never again for me.

Vermonts' are supposed to have even more BTU's than last years.

I loved Vermont's for the past 2 years.

Never burned Cubex

Yeah, cubex are 299 at away and vermonts are 279.
