Carpenter ants in my rounds

I spray home defense around my foundation 3 times a year. Over the period of 2 years, that has eliminated all ants in the home. I do not use pesticides in the home, other than around the ceiling in the basement. It is unfinished and not a living space.

I dont know about June bugs, but the larvae in my pics were about the size of Japanese Beetle larvae, or somewhat bigger. The holes left in the wood are extremely large and hard to miss. The frass looks like cow poop.

June beetle larvae are very large and fat, at least the size of a quarter
