For those that remember my photo-laden post about fitting ceiling fans in France, we bought a pair of 56" remote controlled fans, and the photo below is of them having been installed and in working order. We just want some colder weather now, so we can see if the investment was justified!

Looks very nice, 2 of them both 56 ?? You are going to be getting some circulation there.
 
Those look pricey, I wonder if that is a brand we can buy in the states, I love the construction methods they use in europe, houses last for hundreds of years.
 
Those ceiling beams seem MASSIVE!!
