hello to all
i have a quad mt vernon ae insert. has anyone had a ceramic coating applied to their fire pot, the same that is applied to car headers, or another ceramic product.
i would think that the minerals and impurities that start to build up on the fire pot, that i have to scrape off every week or so should wipe off with a cloth. from what i have read the heat should be reflected off the fire pot and probably increase the fire temp and efficiency. if i am completely off the mark here let me know. i may have too much time on my hands to be thinking of stuff like this. any and all feedback will be appreciated. great forum. great knowledge. great people.
thanks
