Beautiful room you got there Scotty!
You can't go wrong with stone & wood.
I had an open pallet to work with, and after a short thought on drywall, I went with all wood.
Of course it cost more, but in the end, no painting. No dinging the drywall etc.
And the look of knotty pine just gives me the rustic look I love.
The stone just finished it off perfectly.
The two go together like peanut butter & jelly LOL.
I would love to do the entire outside of my house on the lower portion in stone. And may someday.
After 7 years on the addition and counting, not sure I'll finish the entire house to my liking before I die.
I also want to take the brick off the fireplace wall face and do that in stone.
Got to get the addition done inside first.
I really like you set up Scotty. The beams add even more of a great rustic feel.
