All,

We had our new, but leftover IR delivered yesterday and upon taking a closer look at it, the griddle top looks to have some rust on the surface. Is there a safe way to clean this off with something without hurting it? Steel wool okay?

Thanks!

I would be willing to bet that after a few good fires a light scrubbing will clean that right up. Kinda like a cast iron skillet.

Steel wool will be fine. On really bad griddles I've used WD-40 and a wire wheel on a drill, they look good as new!
