Hello All, First, I hope I’m posting this in the right location, but please excuse me if I’m not. I have a Country Comfort insert m#CC300S that we pulled out to do maintenance on and resurface. While it’s out we were thinking to update the color to black (so temp paint suggestions are welcome and appreciated). Secondly, I’d like to replace the fan motors (they are working fine, I’m just thinking it may be time for a tune up) and replace the brick if that’s recommended (please let me know-none have any major cracks, but while it’s out...). Third if anyone knows of an available thermostat kit let me know. Lastly, we want to add a chimney liner so if anyone knows of available adapters to go over a 6X9 rectangle to convert to an 8” round I’d appreciate that info also. Thanks in advance.

Stove Brite satin black is a good stove paint. Do the fan motors have lubrication ports? If so, that may suffice. Put in about 10 drops of electric motor oil (like 3n1) in each port. Does the motor look like this? https://servicesales.com/product/country-flame-blower-motor-and-fanblade/

For a replacement motor only, go to Grainger and look for small electric motor that matches the spec.

If the firebrick has no cracks then it doesn't need replacement. There are third party inline thermostats but I am not sure where it would mount on this stove.
