Saw this and got all excited, got the truck and hitched up the trailer.

When I got there I found a 15' by 25' by 6' high pile of rotting wood. This guy had just bought the house and wanted to clear out the back yard. It might have been burnable 5 years ago but now its rotted and punky. This guy was too cheap to hire a dumpster and just haul it away. I picked through it and managed to get one scant trailer load. Had it been good wood it would have been the score of the decade.

I got a similiar load like that a few months ago, all stacked and looked to be about 3 cords or so, by the time i ended up picking through it and all the rott that fell off the splits, it ended up being about a cord and a half. either way, not a bad score for some very well seasoned oak. will make a nice mess in my basement next year tho.
