I have a PE Super 27. The below damper has no written settings so I don't know which way (left/right) is open and closed. Anyone know? I've read through the manuel but it was not help.
Thanks,
chach

Start a fire..............and mess with it............when the fire dies down or goes out, you know your closing the damper.

Yeah, lame documentation for PE. The Alderlea is unmarked as well. All the way left should be open, to the right closed. When it doubt, take a mirror or lie down and look at the damper operation, it's just a simple pivot valve.
