Corie,
I'd like to see some pictures. I'm working with a similar sized firebox on my Osburn and am always experimenting with loading methods to extend burn times.
Thanks.

Corie,
I think if you post it for all to see , a lot of folks would benefit ...8 hr burn ?....Maybe I don't need the 30 after all ... I appreciate your time...Jim

Corie;

I would also like to see a pic of your loading technique. My wife and I are just about finished with our hearth and will be buying the stove in the next couple of weeks. The 13-NC is at the top of the list for our stove choice. I’d like to learn as much as I can before I buy the stove.
Thanks,

Hunter

I bought the stove!

My wife and I managed to wrangle my parents into coming with us to pick up our stove this morning. We bought them breakfast at McDonalds in return (good deal, eh?)

Craigslist FTW!!! It turned out that the guy that was selling it only lived about 10 minutes from me, just on the other side of the state park!

My dad has a little trailer that we use to haul around riding mowers, etc... that we used this morning to haul the stove. It was much easier rolling the dolly up the ramp on the trailer than trying to lift the stove into the bed of my pickup truck. That beast is heavy!

I'm excited! Now that I have the stove, I can start planning my chimney and hearth.
