I like the stove I had a DW 55000 btu extra large and liked it . I would lift the top and check the cat Go very easy lifting the asbestos cover thats over the cat .The cat mite get stuck in the cover .I would use a paint brush to sweep it out . Look for cracks around the cat .check the gaskets every where . They sell a gaskets set for the stoves . My stove burnt 24/7 for 15 years . I gave the stove to a friend yesterday and we will be putting it in his living room soon . I needed more btus so i bought a new stove .
