i called sbi for the reset code for H1 and it is as follows in this order one at a time. reset, I/O, 6, 1, quiet mode for aprox. 3 sec. this should reset the machine. it worked for mine. i hope this helps anyone else with this problem. a clean machine will avoid this problem in the first place. oh well, it was a good learning experience. im glad it was a warm weekend or i would have been even more agrivated. thanks to everyone who tried to help me out. i really appreciate it. these types of forums are really invaluable tools. later everyone
