One of these serves two purposes, can you guess which one? Can't beat homemade stew or even chili simmering on the stove, sorry propane guy.

I'm going to go with Picture #1 . . . 1) Serves as a back up source of heat and 2) serves as a great place to place your Hummel collection.

I would have gone with Picture #2, but clearly that is serving three purposes. 1) heating, 2) cooking and 3) humidifying or adding potpourri scent into the air . . . well that and it's a near work of art which would actually make four purposes.
 
Yes! Chili or bean soup is great.
 
You must be very carefull loading your woodstove after you eat a lot of that chili :roll:
