A clinker is a byproduct of burning the pellets. It is basically a hardened clump of fused ash in the burn pot. You have to scrape the burn pot pretty hard sometimes to get them dislodged.

I have had my stove for nearly a month....I burn 24/7 and I burn 99% of the time Fireside Ultra's and honestly....I have had NO clinkers. Not sure if it may ne the quality of the pellets or the design of the Quadra Fire burn pot or both.....but honestly I have had no clinkers in the burn pot. I do clean daily very thoroughly but no clinkers.

oh... And NO question gets the prize of the "dumb" question. :)

I have had clinkers with other pellets but not with the fireside ultra's. Greene Team and Clean energy from Lowes made clinkers in my stove a summers heat 55-SHP-10.
