Many of those how-to's are just filler - that is, to attract visitors and revenue from google searches.

X2, I had to replace two auger motors in an Englander pellet stove. The motor turn and the shaft turned but the gears were worn and the motor would stick and stop. Those instructions are useless!

I have found ehow to be pretty useless and not informative. Waste of electrons, IMO.
