Early Ladybugs in Maine?

LADYBUG IN THE HOUSE! I crack window,on top, on the sunny side of the house during the day to let them out,no screen. info came from U ME. COOP EXTENSION SERVICE 3 yrs ago & works great.

I've had them all winter. They hang out by the back door. I let most of them out the last few days.

they fly in in winter & out in spring.

they have been in the sunny kitchen sink for a week. The wife thinks I should be able to spray something and make them go away, there's some people you just can't reach.
