I just bought a 25-pdvc used from a guy on craigslist to heat my 24x40 insulated section of my new pole barn. I have r-19 in walls and about 11-13 inches of blown in cellulose in ceiling. The settings for bottom 3 buttons are 452. Is this what I need to keep it at? Stove seems to be burning nice. But want to make sure this is set at optimum settings. I also read in other forums about a b c d modes. I'm lost about all these settings. Any help would be appreciated. Also. When I put stove of 9 9 settings to get it cranking out heat she heats up so much top of stove and sides get pretty damn hot. Is this ok? Also the blower blows out hot heat but on the 9 setting I'm not really impressed with how much hot heat comes out. How much should blower be blowing out?

Set the bottom buttons at 6-4-1 and and mode at D. If you need more heat turn the heat range up. Or go back in the house.

Ok I know how to set bottoms to 6-4-1. How to change modes?

Do this when the stove is cold.

Unplug the stove from the power outlet.

Plug power lead back in and press both the up and down blower speed buttons at the same time within 4 - 5 seconds, you should now see a letter (A, b, c or d) in the left digital display under heat range, you need to change this to 'd' or 'c' using the up / down buttons below that readout, once set to 'd' or 'c' wait 10 - 15 seconds then unplug the power again and wait 5 seconds. (Sometimes the mode that you want does not set and defaults back to the mode that it was in before, repeat this step to make sure the mode that you want is set.)

Plug power back in, then set the lower three (3) buttons to read 6 4 1 from left to right.

Clean out the stove and reload with pellets and fire it up. Set the heat range to 2. Set the blower speed to 3 or 4 and then leave the stove alone for 60 - 90 minutes. After 60 - 90 minutes have passed, set the heat and blower to the numbers that you want.
