I have a 2004 Englander PDV that I have tinkered with and am a place where I think I am done. This stove is probably not as it would have been from the factory. I don't know the history as I bought it second hand. It took me a while to dial it in but I have it where it will burn any pellet that I put in it, produces heat and isn't giving me any grief. I think the lower auger is aftermarket as it turns at 1.5 rpms per minute. Anyhow, with the thermometer placed in the stove where the heat blows out I am getting a reading of 206 degrees while running 2/8. Reasonable?

Id say you have good hot pellets to get 200+heat from #2setting. I get185deg on setting 5 burning green supremes. 1-5-1 on magic numbers. Where r your numbers set? What pellets?
