Hi, we recently replaced the circuit board on our empress and now have almost the complete opposite issue we started with. Original board feeds pellets constantly and had a huge flame on low. New board feeds normally but then the stove shuts down within 15 or so minutes. I searched the forum and thought maybe the new one had to be programmed but the seller said it’s plug and play. We put the old board back in so we could at least run the stove for short periods but it will over heat if we leave it on too long. Any thoughts? Thanks!

On the back side of your old board is a connection spot,2 wires, for hooking to room thermostat. If not using a room thermostat, there usually is a short section of wire hooking the 2 terminals together. If there is one on your old board, and none on new board, you will have to transfer it over.

Well, make sure you are using stove in manual mode, and ,possibly your proof of fire(low temp) snap switch is bad.
