I've got a 2005 Accentra that has not been keeping temperature like it used to. I normally keep the thermostat at 65-68 degrees in room temp mode but lately it starts going bananas and will keep heating wide open until I turn it down to 60. It seems to work ok if I keep the temp setting at 60 but that's somewhat cold. I did replace the potentiometers on the main board but that didn't seem to help.

I do notice when it's cranking away and I unplug the air temp probe the distribution blower will stop. Could I have a bad air temp probe? I would think I should be able to do a resistance check to it at various temperatures to see if it's going bad. Does anyone know what the values should be at certain temps?

Any other ideas?

Thanks.
